What is the Genome?

The living memory of your brand: strategy, personality, audiences and visual cues in one document that feeds everything else.

What it is for

The Genome is your brand identity written so that people and systems can work with it. Nödo uses it to answer in your tone, the team uses it as a permanent brief, and every proposal, piece of content and piece of work comes from it.

What it gathers

  • Positioning and promise.
  • Audiences and what each one needs.
  • Tone of voice and archetypes.
  • Creative territories.
  • Visual cues and usage rules.

How it evolves

It is built in Brand OS with Nödo's help and it is never closed: you can complete and refine it as the brand changes. Every adjustment shows immediately in what is generated afterwards.

If a proposal does not sound like you, the cause is usually in the Genome. Fix it there rather than in each piece.
