Privacy and analytics
We use necessary technical cookies and, only with your consent, analytics and marketing pixels to improve the website and measure campaigns.
Link social networks, ads, analytics and your website to your brand: publish, measure and delete from Brand OS. Instagram connects the quick way or the full way.
Under Add a connection each service says what it is for and where it stands: Connect, Add account (you already have one and can add another), Pending approval (the platform is still reviewing Nömad's access) or Coming soon. Networks that are not open yet appear greyed out with a Coming soon label and cannot be clicked.
If you cancel in the platform's window, nothing happens: you are back in Connections with no changes. If something fails, the notice tells you which network it was and what to do. If you have just disconnected an account, wait a few minutes before connecting it again.
Before connecting, check in your browser that you are signed in to the right account on the network. Otherwise the platform links whichever account is open.
Each connected account is a card with its picture, name, @handle and a status line:
Accounts that need something come first. Each card also shows What Nömad can do with it (Publish, Metrics, Comments, Delete posts, History), based on the network and the permissions you accepted, and a menu to reconnect, re-import history or disconnect. Each network shows the same status on the Connections page, on your brand's home and in the mobile app.
Like the best tools in the industry, you can link Instagram in two ways. Both need a professional account (business or creator).
| Quick · Connect with Instagram | Full · Connect with Facebook | |
|---|---|---|
| What you need | Just your Instagram account | A Facebook Page linked to your Instagram, and being its admin |
| Publish photos, reels, carousels and stories | Yes | Yes |
| Account and per-post metrics | Yes | Yes |
| First comment and collaborators | No | Yes |
| Delete posts from Nömad | No (Instagram does not allow it with this connection) | Yes |
If Instagram is already connected the quick way, click Upgrade to full connection on its card: it is the same account, so your scheduled posts, history and metrics are kept.
The full connection is rolling out in phases while Meta reviews its permissions. Until then you will see Pending Meta approval: use the quick one and upgrade later without losing anything.
From a post's page you can click Delete from each network it went out on (for example, Delete from Instagram). We ask you to confirm because it cannot be undone.
If you delete something directly on the network, Nömad notices within a few hours, marks it Deleted outside Nömad and moves it to the Deleted tab: it stops counting it as published and stops reading its metrics.
When you connect several things with the same Facebook user (your Page, your Instagram and your Meta Ads account), Nömad keeps a single authorization. Each account still has its own card, but reconnecting once fixes them all.
If other people in your brand also manage the same Page or account, they can connect it as a backup: when connecting, choose Add as backup. Nömad keeps each person's authorization and, if the one in use stops working (password changed, role removed, the person leaves the brand), it switches to another one that works on its own, with no reconnect and no lost posts. The card shows Backed by N admins, and from Admins with access you can choose the primary one. We warn you before removing the only person backing an account.
We warn you before anything stops publishing. If an account stops working, or has 14, 7 or 1 days left before it expires, the brand's owners and admins get one summary a day: in the bell, as a push notification and by email. Each account in the summary says what happened, how many scheduled posts are at risk in the next 14 days, who authorised it (and should reconnect it) and a direct link to do it. You also see a notice in the brand and a count next to Connections.
Connection health (Connections → Connection health) shows, for each account, who authorised it, missing permissions, when it must be renewed and why, the last post and last metrics read, and recent errors with how to fix them: password changed, security check, Page role removed, Nömad removed from Facebook Business Integrations, or rate limits. Check now tests the connection on the spot.
Posts at risk. In the Calendar and on each post you see a notice if the account needs a reconnect or expires before the post time. Once you reconnect it, Retry the failed posts sends again, in one click, what failed while it was disconnected.
If you pick an account that needs reconnecting, or that expires before the post time, the editor warns you below the accounts with a link to reconnect. You can still save. Nödo also tells you which account needs reconnecting and why when you ask about your connections or ask it to schedule.
Before disconnecting you see how many scheduled posts and works will pause. They do not fail: they stay paused. If you reconnect the same account within 30 days, they resume on their own; the ones that missed their time are ready to Retry in one click. Nömad only removes the permission on the network when no other account in your brand uses it.
Credentials are stored encrypted and each connection belongs to a single brand: the same account cannot publish from two brands at once. You can disconnect an account at any time from its card or remove access from the platform itself; if you do it on the platform, Nömad notices and lets you know. If a platform does not allow removing access automatically, you will see a notice with a Review access in link to finish it there.
A temporary network error does not break your connection: we only ask you to Reconnect when the platform really requires it. If Meta asks us to delete your data, we also delete the imported posts, their thumbnails and their metrics.
