Everything you request from Nömad is a piece of work, and each one breaks down into tasks: the ones Nömad does and the ones that are yours.
A piece of work is a request of broad scope, from a post to a website or a campaign. It has a fixed price, a deadline, one or more people responsible and deliverables.
Each piece of work splits into bounded, ordered steps. Some are done by the Nömad team (or by Nödo for instant work) and some depend on you:
Some products include Post tasks: one post per task, with the Posts editor inside the task. A single post is a work with one task; a campaign has several, one per post («Post 2/5»). When Nömad prepares them, you review and approve them on the post itself. Each task moves forward on its own when its post is scheduled.
Some works start with a Briefing with Nödo task. You answer the briefing by talking to Nödo: it suggests what it already knows about your brand, asks only what is missing and, at the end, shows you the summary. Press Accept to hand it in or Edit to change it in the form. If you'd rather not chat, choose Form: the questions are the same.
What you accept stays in the task and the next steps of the work use it. When the work is finished, Nödo suggests saving what it learned to your brand memory (for example, what to avoid or which offers you push in each season) and you decide in Genome.
Posts and the publications in your plans name themselves from what you write, for example "Instagram Reel · Autumn collection launch"; while there is no text yet, "Post · no date" or its scheduled date. If you prefer another title, type it in Title (optional), above the editor, or use the pencil next to the work's name; clear it and the automatic one comes back.
Next to the title you always see which product the work comes from ("Post", "Content plan · Essential"), even if you rename it, and you can search by it.
Each piece of work shows its status, which task is active and who needs to act. The deadline is set at the start; if material that depends on you arrives late, the schedule adjusts and we let you know.
States look the same everywhere in the app, on your phone and in what Nödo tells you:
A piece of work turns its ring amber when delivery is close and rose when it is late. The days left show in amber for the last three days and in rose on the due date or after it.
Under Work inside your brand, with pinned and archived, and in the calendar. Tasks always live inside their piece of work.
